Fresh vegetarian food from our in-house kitchen — consistently the most-praised line in our student reviews. Vegan and gluten-free meals are prepared daily; medical diets and allergies are planned with you at registration.
What's on the table
Breakfast, lunch and dinner served at fixed times around your practice schedule; herbal tea available throughout the day. Tell our Yoga program counsellor about allergies or dietary needs before you enrol.
How do I reach the ashram from Dehradun Airport
Arrival, luggage & safety
Getting here
Fly into Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (DED) — most students connect via Delhi. A taxi takes you to the trailhead, then it's a 30-minute forest walk up to the campus (no vehicle access). We coordinate your full arrival plan once you register.
Your luggage
A porter carries your bags up the trail for you — one porter per student, up to 15–18 kg. Pack light where you can; the walk itself is unhurried.
Safety
Most of our 200 Hour students are solo women travellers. The campus is private and staffed, with resident faculty on site around the clock throughout your course.
What should I bring?
Modest, comfortable clothing for practice and daily wear (sleeved tops, full-length bottoms — our dress code honours the tradition), a reusable water bottle, layers for cool mornings, and any personal medication. Yoga mats and props are provided.
When can I check in?
Arrive one day before your course start date so you are settled in before the first session. We confirm your exact check-in time and arrival plan once you register.
