Why "Yogpeeth"
A seat of yoga learning — in the original sense
"Yogpeeth" means a seat of yoga education. We hold that meaning literally: a fixed curriculum, resident faculty, evaluation standards, university affiliation and graduation — the structures of a school, in the setting of a traditional Himalayan ashram. Students who want a holiday will be happier elsewhere; students who want an education tend to stay in touch for life.
