What is calling you?

You do not have to arrive with all the answers. You only need to know what you are looking for today.

Your yoga journey, your way

Three paths. One deeper connection.

Every student comes with a different story. Some are taking their first steps. Others are ready to grow into the teachers they have always imagined becoming. We offer different ways to explore yoga, so you can choose the path that feels right for you.

Course eligibility, dates, fees and registration details are available on the individual programme pages.

Not sure which path is right for you? Start with your experience, your intentions and what you hope to take home.

Our approach

More than a place to study yoga.

It is a way of learning to live it.

At Rishikesh Yogpeeth, we see yoga as more than a series of postures.

It is in the way we breathe when life feels overwhelming. The patience we bring to a difficult moment. The kindness we offer ourselves when things do not go as planned. Our approach brings traditional yoga knowledge into a living, learning experience. We explore the body, the breath, the mind and the wisdom behind the practice.

Because the real journey begins when what you learn becomes a part of how you live.

Come as you are. Leave with more to carry.

What makes our journey different?

Teachers who walk beside you.

Learning is not only about receiving answers. It is about asking better questions, exploring your experience and finding understanding through practice.

Wisdom with room to grow.

We honour traditional yoga teachings while helping you understand how to bring them into your own practice and teaching.

A life lived together.

Residential learning gives you time to practise, share meals, exchange stories and grow alongside people who may have travelled thousands of miles to be here.

A connection that continues.

Through Yoga Bodhi, our alumni community, we continue to create opportunities for connection and learning beyond the time spent with us.

A journey with meaning. Our aim is not simply to help you learn yoga. It is to help you understand it more deeply, through your own experience.

Your classroom is closer to nature

Welcome to Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram.

Where the day begins with breath, and the mountains remind you to slow down.

Imagine waking up to a quieter morning. Stepping outside. Feeling the mountain air. Finding your way to practice before the rest of the world asks anything of you.

Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram is the residential setting for our programmes. Surrounded by mountain scenery, it offers space to step away from everyday distractions and give your practice the attention it deserves.

Here, learning extends beyond the yoga hall. It lives in shared meals, thoughtful conversations, quiet moments and the small routines that shape each day.

This is not simply where you stay while studying yoga. It is part of the experience itself.

A world of stories. A shared love for yoga.

From different places. Together on one path.

Our community brings together students and retreat guests from around the world.

They arrive with different reasons for being here. Some want to teach. Some want to reconnect with their practice. Some simply need time to listen to themselves again.

And somewhere between the early mornings, the lessons and the conversations, a place that once felt unfamiliar can begin to feel like home.

A few days can make room for a different kind of rhythm
