Sometimes a place opens close to a start date — a cancellation, an unfilled room. Rather than let it sit empty, we offer it at a significantly reduced fee to a student from our scholarship pool who can pack a bag and come. Same curriculum, same faculty, same certificate. Fewer choices, honest trade-offs.

The process, plainly

How scholarships work

Apply to the pool Tell us which course you want, and — most importantly — how flexibly you can travel. Today
A place opens When a spot frees up near a start date, we contact matching applicants with the offer and the exact reduced fee. Days–weeks before an intake
Confirm quickly Offers are short-fused by nature — confirm, pay the reduced fee, book your travel. Usually 24–72 hours
Train — then tell the story Complete the course like every other student, and write a blog about your experience for Student Stories. Your part of the deal

The exchange, stated plainly: a significantly reduced fee, in return for date flexibility, accepting whichever room type remains (twin or private — no choosing), and a written blog about your experience. No other strings.

Eligibility

  • Open for our residential teacher training courses (200, 300 and 500 Hr), subject to availability per intake.
  • Standard course eligibility applies — 18+, English proficiency, and the 200 Hr prerequisite for the 300 Hr.
  • Genuine date flexibility — the ability to confirm and travel at short notice.

Terms, without small print

  • Discounts are irregular and offer-specific — confirmed in writing per offer, never a published fixed rate.
  • Room type is whatever remains for that intake — twin shared or private, not chosen.
  • Offers cannot be deferred, transferred or exchanged; declining returns you to the pool.
  • You agree to write a blog about your experience, published in Student Stories.

Scholarships — frequently asked questions

Honestly: it depends on cancellations and unfilled places near each start date, so we cannot promise anyone a place. The more flexible your travel dates, the better your chances — flexibility is the single biggest factor.

It varies with each offer and each intake — a significantly reduced fee, confirmed in writing when we contact you. We deliberately do not publish a fixed percentage, because there isn't one.

No — scholarship places come with whatever room type remains for that intake, twin shared or private. It is one of the trade-offs of the reduced fee.

No. Scholarship offers are for the specific intake offered and cannot be deferred, transferred or exchanged. If the dates don't work, you stay in the pool for future offers.

Two things: you write a blog about your experience (published in Student Stories), and you accept the available room type. Everything else about the course — curriculum, faculty, meals, certification — is identical to a full-fee place.
